Our Services
Five kinds of care, one dental office in Salinas
Most visits here are a cleaning and a checkup. Some are a chipped front tooth, a crown that has worked loose, or a first appointment for a three year old. The list below covers what we do, and all of it is done in this office rather than sent across town.
-
Cosmetic Dentistry
Veneers, teeth whitening, and cosmetic bonding.
-
Restorative Dentistry
Crowns and bridges, dentures, dental implants, tooth-colored fillings, and extractions.
-
General and Family Dentistry
Checkups, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and digital X-rays for every age in the house.
-
Sedation Dentistry
Oral conscious sedation and nitrous oxide for patients who dread the chair.
-
Emergency Dentistry
Toothaches, broken teeth, root canal therapy, and wisdom tooth removal.
Readers’ Choice
Voted the best dental office in Salinas for six years
Whether you are looking for a new dentist in Salinas or you are in pain and need an emergency dentist, we have the training to look after you and your whole family. Complex smile restorations, teeth whitening, cleanings and exams all happen here, so you are not sent somewhere else for them. What new patients tend to remember afterwards is not the equipment in the room. It is that the doctor and the staff took their time and were gentle with them.

Sedation Dentistry
Sedation dentistry for patients who dread the chair
Some people put off a cleaning for years because the sound of the drill sits in their memory. Others cannot hold still in the chair long enough for the work to get done, because of a back injury or a tremor. We offer two kinds of sedation for both.
-
Oral conscious sedation
Taken as a pill before your appointment.
-
Nitrous oxide
The gas most people know as laughing gas.
Which one suits you depends on your health and on the treatment, and we talk it through before anything starts. Some patients need sedation for one visit only. After that they come back for regular checkups without it.
Age three When a child’s first checkup should happen
General and Family Dentistry
Dependable family dentistry in Salinas
Most of what happens here is the basics, and that is how it should be. Two checkups and cleanings a year, a fluoride treatment, digital X-rays, and now and then a small filling. Coming in regularly is what lets the team spot the early warning signs, whether that is a cavity starting, gum disease taking hold, or older dental work beginning to fail. Catching it early is what keeps the fix small, a filling or a crown or a root canal, instead of something bigger later on.
It is not only your smile that benefits. People with healthy teeth and gums tend to enjoy better general health, and gum disease contributes to other conditions, including heart trouble and breathing problems. Left alone it can cost you teeth. Preventing that kind of infection matters for your whole body, and regular dental care is the easy way to do it.
Patients of all ages should see a dentist at least every six months, and we welcome the whole family, including the youngest smiles. Around age three a child should start coming in for a routine checkup and cleaning. Kids do well with a friendly, welcoming approach, and affordable preventive care matters while their teeth are still developing.
Se Habla Español. We see families in English and in Spanish, so you can book, ask your questions, and hear your options in either one.
Emergency Dentistry
Emergency dental care in Salinas: call us first
A toothache starts at the worst possible time, and a tooth can break on something as ordinary as a sandwich. When that happens, the first thing to do is call. We will listen to what happened, ask a few questions, and book you a time to come in. Then we will tell you what to do in the meantime to keep the pain down and protect the tooth.
If a tooth cannot be saved, we will talk you through what comes next, including dental implants, and we will go through the cost with you before you decide anything.

Got a cleaning yesterday and the dental hygienist Rosie was great ! I get really bad anxiety at the dentist and she made me feel comfortable and relaxed during the whole cleaning. She brought me a warm blanket and I feel like it helped
Always a friendly, welcoming environment. The care provided is one I go back for. The plus is how funny the person cleaning my teeth is. Lupe?? makes my experience be extraordinary. Sorry drawing a blank on her name, but u know who you are :)

This place is the best! As someone that gets nervous going to the dentist, Dr. Hajdari was great at making me feel calm and would check in on how I’m doing. I got a root canal and crown with him and I felt no pain at all!

Patient Comforts
The small things that make a visit easier
The dentistry is the easy part to describe. What patients notice is the half hour around it, whether somebody offers you a drink when you sit down, whether the room is warm, and whether anyone explains what is about to happen. Those are small things, and they are the part people mention when they come back.
-
Warm blankets and pillows
Ask at any point in the appointment.
-
Something to drink
Offered in reception while you wait.
-
A screen above the chair
Watch something while the work gets done.
-
Headphones and video glasses
Sound and picture, so the room falls away.
-
Digital X-rays
Part of a routine checkup, read on screen.
-
Patient raffles
Held from time to time. Past prizes have included laptops and TVs.

How we keep your dental care affordable
Money is the reason a lot of people put off a filling, and there is no point pretending otherwise. We are clear about what a treatment costs before it begins, we welcome dental insurance, and we offer CareCredit for the work that is easier to pay for over time. Ask at the front desk and somebody will go through all three with you.
-
Transparent pricing
You know what a treatment costs before it begins.
-
Dental insurance welcomed
Bring your plan details and we will go through them with you.
-
CareCredit financing
A way to spread the cost of larger treatment.
