No cost to start, and no long-term contracts after.

Measured, not claimed
Your website gets
two and a half
seconds.
That is not our opinion, it is where Google draws the line — measured on real visits, on real phones. Past it you are the slow result, and on mobile that is where most of your traffic already is.

The evidence
You don’t have to take our word for it
None of these are our numbers. They are five companies who made their own sites faster, measured what happened to their own revenue, and published it. We are not asking you to believe an agency — we are pointing at the paper trail.

The lever is always the same three numbers. What follows is one of ours, audited on a page you can open right now.
One page, audited
This is what an ordinary page off the system scores
Not the homepage, polished for a pitch. One of the three hundred pages this architecture generates, picked because there is nothing special about it. The audit is below and so is the URL — run it yourself.

One component system
300+ service, pest and location pages assembled from the same parts — not 300 hand-built pages.
Server-rendered
Every page arrives as HTML. Googlebot and the answer engines read it without running a line of JavaScript.
Estimate form above the fold
The conversion path is in the first screen on a phone, not three scrolls down behind a hamburger.
Design, as a system
Forty screens, one set of decisions
A design system is not a style guide nobody opens. It is a small number of choices, made once, that every screen after it inherits. Change one below and watch the whole panel move — that is what your team gets instead of a folder of one-off layouts.
Corner radius
Accent
Type scale
Three settings. Every corner, every accent and every size in the panel is derived from them — which is why a system stays consistent when it grows past the pages you designed by hand.
Two we built. One is a product screen carrying live commerce data, one is a marketing homepage. Same discipline underneath both.

Dense data, still readable
Numbers, charts and controls on one screen without it turning into a dashboard nobody opens.

One idea per screen
A heading, a sentence, and one thing to do — repeated down the page in the order a buyer asks for it.
Every screen it will ever be on
Drag the edge. It’s one page.
A lot of “responsive” sites are two designs and a switch. This is one component tree with rules about space — nothing swaps out, nothing is a second screenshot. Pull the handle and watch it think.

The handover
You own it the day we finish
The uncomfortable question about agencies is what happens when you leave. Here is the answer in advance, itemised — because a site you cannot take with you was never really an asset.
Yours, permanently
Handed over at launch, in your accounts, with no conditions attached.
- 01The codeA Git repository in your organisation, with the full history.
- 02The contentA Payload CMS your team edits — copy, images, pages, posts.
- 03The domain and DNSRegistered to you. We never hold the keys to your name.
- 04The analyticsYour GA4 property, your conversion events, your data.
Ours, only while you want it
Both optional. Neither is a lever, and neither can be used as one.
- 05The hostingOurs or yours — the build is a standard Next.js app and runs anywhere.
- 06The maintenanceOptional. The site does not stop working the month you stop.
The problem
Why the wrong website gets expensive
Most business owners end up buying a website twice. The first one looks fine in the demo, then quietly loses calls for two years, until the only repair left is to buy another one.
A template propped up by plugins
A drag-and-drop theme loads a pile of code your pages never use, and on a phone, on a job site, on two bars of service, that page crawls. Google sees the same slow loading your customer feels, and it puts the faster competitor above you.
Looks fine, and nobody calls
A contractor can list every service on the page and still bury the phone number three scrolls down. Visitors who have to hunt for the next step do not hunt, so they go back to the results and click the name under yours.
Built so it has to be rebuilt
Page builders age badly. Add a service, add a booking form, add a second location, and the whole thing groans. Two years on you are not repairing the website, you are replacing it, and the treadmill starts again.
The system
How the work stays lean
Three decisions we make before the design starts. They keep the project tight and the website quick, and they are why serious work does not have to cost an arm and a leg.
Speed is a promise, not a hope
We set a speed target before we draw a single screen, then we hold the build to it. Your pages get timed on a real phone on a slow connection instead of on office wifi, because a slow connection is where your customers open them.
Every page has one job
A page exists to earn a call, a quote request, or a booking. We name that job first, then build the layout, the order of the paragraphs, and the buttons around it, and afterwards we measure whether the page did it.
Built from parts we already own
Your website is put together from pieces we build and reuse on every project, so your budget goes into your own pages instead of into inventing a button twice. Same quality of work, far less of it billed to you.
What's included
What you get
Six pieces that arrive as one build. None of it is held back as an upsell later.
A website hand-built for you
Drawn and built for your business rather than picked off a shelf of themes. No template appearance, and none of the plugin weight that drags a page builder down.
Fast on a phone, on any bars
Photographs, type, and code are trimmed until the page opens right away. We measure it on a real phone on a slow connection, because that is how most of your customers will ever see it.
Built to get you called
Short forms, clear paths to a call or a quote, and buttons where people look. A roofer gets the quote request, an agent gets the seller lead, a shop gets the appointment.
Mobile first, because your customers are
Designed for the phone first and scaled up from there, since most of the people searching for what you sell are standing somewhere holding one.
A website you can edit yourself
Change your hours, swap a photograph, publish a post, or add a page from a plain login screen. No code, no developer, and no waiting on us.
Made for SEO and AI search
Every page is built so Google can read it and rank it, and so AI answers like ChatGPT can quote it when a customer asks who does what you do. It also reads cleanly for somebody using a screen reader.

Three builds, three industries
The same work sits under every one of them. Read the full stories.
How we work
Four steps, in sequence
We agree on the plan before anything is designed, and we measure the website before it launches, so nothing that arrives is a surprise.
A short discovery call
We start with what you sell, who buys it, and the one action a visitor can take that makes you money. Then we map the pages and the paths to it, and you approve the plan and the quote before a single screen is designed.
Design and build
We design the pages and build them by hand on the same system our biggest clients get, so every page is made of pieces you can move and add to later. Nothing here is a throwaway.
Speed and quality checks
We time the website on a real phone on a slow connection, run it across browsers and equipment, and confirm that search engines can read every page. Nothing launches until it opens quickly on the phones your customers carry.
Launch, then keep going
We put it live, connect the tracking so you can see where your calls come from, and watch what real visitors do. Then we improve the pages that need it, so the website earns more over time instead of aging out.
How we compare
A Machina build vs. a template site
None of this appears in the demo. It appears later, in how quickly your pages open, in what a small copy change costs you, and in how many people call.
| A template site | Machina |
|---|---|
| Built on a theme and a stack of plugins that slow every page | Hand-built for your business, with none of that weight to carry |
| Speed checked after launch, if anyone remembers to check | A speed target set before the first screen is drawn, and met on a real phone at launch |
| A homepage that looks nice and asks the visitor for nothing | Every page pointed at one action, with the buttons built around it |
| You pay somebody every time a phone number or a price changes | You edit it yourself from a plain login screen, with no code and no waiting on us |
| Mobile treated as a shrink-to-fit afterthought | Mobile first, because that is where your customers search |
| Search groundwork skipped to save hours | Made for SEO and AI search from the first page we build |
| A finished site handed over and forgotten | Tracking after launch, and a short list of what to improve next |
Pair with
The website is the start, not the finish
A fast website gives you something worth sending people to. These are the services that send them, and the two industries we build for most.
